Behind an old yellow farmhouse with a covered porch and a squeaky screen door is a lovely garden filled with flowers, fruits, vegetables, and wonderful memories of mornings spent between a little girl and her beloved Nanny. Their days are filled with harvesting vegetables from the garden, drinking sweet iced tea on the porch, with fresh cherries picked for homemade pie, and supper times with all the people that the little girl loves best.

This story tells of the world through the eyes of a child. A world immersed with the bonds of family, love, nature, homesteading, the connection to our food, and the gift of learning to find joy and abundance in everyday life.

Recommended ages 4 -10 years.
About the Author
Tiffany Noone is an author, illustrator, former teacher, professional animal snuggler, homesteader and most importantly, mom. The story In Nanny’s Garden is largely based upon her own childhood with her grandmother, growing up in the garden, and her passion for growing and raising her own food. Tiffany lives at Fern Woods Farm on a homestead in the woods with her children and husband and a wild and wooly collection of chickens, dairy goats, ducks, geese, rabbits and a couple free spirited silly dogs that don’t like to listen, but are still super cute. Such a sweet book. It brought back memories from my childhood, working with my gramma in her garden. I hope to read this to my children one day and tell them stories about my own ‘Nanny’. Beautiful illustrations, just a lovely book ♥️
